Santa Fe by Design first opened its doors in 2002. Ever since then, owners Bob Schwarz and Kathy Fennema have focused their decades of experience in design, plumbing and construction on one goal: helping every client realize their vision for a beautiful and inspiring home.
Our Story
Unsurprisingly, Bob and Kathy first met in a plumbing showroom. Discovering that they shared similar ideas about customer care and introducing new products and designs to Santa Fe, they struck out on their own and opened Santa Fe By Design. Back then it was just the two of them in a small showroom. Over the past 12 years, however, the location has tripled in size and Santa Fe By Design has become a regional leader for high-quality bathroom fittings, accessories and decorative hardware – and the “go to” showroom for homeowners, homebuilders and design industry professionals.

Santa Fe By Design is unique because we take the collaborative process very seriously and treat is as one of our greatest priorities. Whether we are working with customers, vendors, designers, etc., we respond very quickly to move projects forward at a pace that is timely and in alignment with our customers’ needs. Open, honest, and timely communication is what sets our customer experience apart from others and is truly unmatched in this industry. Customers often comment on the fact that we go above and beyond more often than not.
Our staff is trained to provide impeccable attention and care for all the details of properly installing home fashions. We know our products inside and out, so we custom tailor them, then work with architects, designers and homebuilders to ensure seamless integration. We are incredibly knowledgeable about specifications, so even though our products come from all over the world, we can make sure they fit perfectly and function perfectly in any home.
Our Showroom
When we first opened our doors we had a small space which has since tripled in size. Inside we house a vast and beautiful collection of hundreds of products. Our staff works tirelessly to maintain our expert level of knowledge of the latest design trends and fashions emerging in this industry, as well as to build relationships with the best of the best . We acquire products from world-class designers, top manufacturers and talented artists from Europe, Asia and the United States. Therefore, our products cover a wide array to satisfy different tastes and different price points.
